Hi Felix, yes definitely a lot of 3D programs can be quite complex. Blender has a lot of functionality but a somewhat unusual UI, and a lot of times just having a lot of functionality available can actually be detrimental to a beginning user because it's easy to just get overwhelmed being submerged in a ton of stuff that is all unfamiliar.
So if you're looking for something that's easy to use, Blender is probably not going to be the right fit for you despite the price being great (free).
Like eric mentions, SimLab Composer could be a good fit for you, give it a try here:

Export from MoI using OBJ format and set "Output = Quads & Triangles" and then import that .obj file into SimLab to render it.

I have made some special effort with those to make them friendly to beginners, they go along slowly and with additional explanation at each step.
