Moi on memory stick

Hi Armin - when MoI starts up it will also look for the moi.ini file (where all the settings are stored) in the same folder as the moi.exe program file itself.

So if you copy your moi.ini file containing your settings onto your USB drive, it should find it there no matter what the drive letter happens to be.

By default the moi.ini file is created in this location:

On Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Moi\moi.ini

On Windows Vista or 7:
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Moi\moi.ini

By default it is located under the "App data" folder because since Windows Vista Windows tries to prevent programs from modifying files in the \Program Files folder. But anyway that's where you go to find the initial moi.ini file that you can then copy to the USB drive.

In addition to the moi.ini file, there are also some files in that same spot that store your license key information, they're called moi_v1_license.key and moi_v2_license.key . You'll want to copy these files to the USB drive into the same folder as moi.exe as well so that your license keys information will be found when you launch MoI and you won't have to enter it in.
