Understanding the Network command

Hi David, could you please post the 3DM model file of your networked surface?

That would let me see exactly what you are seeing, instead of just going by your written description alone. That way I can be sure to give you a correct answer.

But it sounds like you may be referring to surface edges - every surface in MoI has what is called a "trimming boundary" that defines the edges of the surface.

That's just part of every surface, so when you create a surface you will end up with some edge objects that are a part of it. Your original curve objects that you drew initially and gave as input into the Network command are also still around, those are separate objects from the surface that was created or the surface edges that are sub-objects of the surface.

Does that help explain what you are seeing?

The only thing I'm not sure about is if you are happening to see some kind of other thing than edges, if you were to post your model file that would help me to make sure that my explanation is accurate.
