Hi eric, the problem is that the edit menu is pretty full of stuff, there isn't really much room to add a whole lot more buttons in it without it getting kind of unwieldly large.

One reason the delete button is separate on the bottom toolbar is so that it's always available in the top level UI no matter which palettes are currently active on the side pane.

I do want to work on making a mechanism to customize the button layout to your own personal preference though. It is currently possible to do that but it involves editing some files in a text editor, the files that control the UI are .htm files inside the \ui subfolder inside of MoI's main installation folder. That can be kind of involved if you are not accustomed to editing HTML text files though.
