I would really like to have a 'delete' button in the UI somewhere rather than way off to the lower left.

Perhaps just a duplicate one so there would be a choice. It could be with the 'edit' drop down menu.

I seem to use it often and it disrupts my concentration to have to break from the UI and the drawing to find it.

I find I most often use my keyboard 'delete' key but that means taking my hand off the mouse or crossing over with my left hand.
