Hi Tim - the one less copy thing was a bug with closed path curves in a previous beta, but it should be fixed in the latest beta version (Jan-18-2007). So just update to the newer beta to fix that. If you're using the latest beta already, please post a model file that shows the problem.

Normally the array tools don't modify the position of the initial object, so to shift things around you will need to modify the position of the starting object.

But do you mean that the objects are not being distributed around the curve quite correctly? If this is the case, can you please post a sample file?
