Hi Len, I think that will probably happen eventually but I don't know exactly when, probably not for v3.

Unfortunately it takes quite a lot of effort to produce a 64-bit version, there are a lot of things to deal with and complications with things like some support libraries possibly not available in 64-bit versions, etc...

So due to the large quantity of work involved it will not likely happen too soon.
