Printing or plotting

Hi Mark, when you're in Rhino you can use the "Make2D" command to have it calculate a hidden line representation of your model, and then you can print those 2D curves.

Is that the kind of printed drawing output that you want?

If you want something that is shaded, normally you would do a rendering to produce a shaded image as a bitmap file, and then load that bitmap file into any image processing program and print from there.

In addition to Rhino you could try Punch ViaCAD for generating hidden line drawings: http://www.punchcad.com/products/viacad2d3dV6.htm - it has a command I think called "Make sheet" that will do a similar kind of 2D hidden-line drawing creation as Rhino's Make2D command.

If just the MoI viewport's hidden line display is good enough for you, it is also possible to set up a shortcut key that will make MoI generate a viewport image of a particular size and put it as a bitmap on the clipboard so you can paste it into an image processing program and print from there, let me know if you would like to try that.
