Hi Luca - MoI uses mshtml.dll for a lot of the UI, so Internet Explorer to be installed - that's probably what is missing and what is the main difference from the games that you have tried.

Under WINE you can possibly use "winetricks" to install IE6 or IE7 and maybe get some more stuff to work.

I think Crossover is some kind of special version of WINE so maybe it is possible to use the same kind of thing there.
