Hi Val, are you referring to the edit frame? The little grips that show around the outside of the selected objects in the Top/Front/Right views?

Just click and drag on one of those handles to make the selected objects scale.

There are 2 modes for the edit frame scaling, either by the center of the object's bounding box or by the corner of the object's bounding box. You can switch between these modes by clicking on one of the grips instead of dragging on it.

See here: http://kyticka.webzdarma.cz/3d/moi/doc/V2releasenotes.html for some notes and demos, look for the section labeled "Edit frame" at the very top.

If you want to scale around one particular point, then you can do that by using the Transform > Scale command instead - that lets you pick any point to be used as the scale origin in the first stage of that command. It can be a point snapped on to the object to make the scaling happen around that particular point, or you can pick the world origin by snapping to it, or typing 0 <enter>.
