Hello,

Octane Render keeps popping up in discussions. I am currently looking at Thea to do product renders with studio type lighting. Is Octane suitable for this type of task? I am somewhat talent and time constrained, but would like to purchase a product that is easy to use, setup a scene and render a fairly believable shot without spending hours tweaking the scene, without the need to enter into another 3D application like modo 401 to do so.

I would like to get a GTX 285 2GB if this is sufficient for the task, but supply seems to have dried up, so I'm not sure when Nvidia will get the GPU's flowing again, hopefully soon.

I am assuming that OR works very well with MoI (?), since that is a pretty solid requirement for me. I realize this is a bit off topic, if so I can register on the OR forum and ask there if it is more appropriate. Thanks.
