Hi Rudl, yes it should be possible to follow along that same rubber duck Rhino tutorial using MoI.

If you want to read the tutorial, install the Rhino v4 demo and then go to the help file, in the help file index it is under "Getting Started" > "Create organic shapes".

The way the tutorial is set up, you draw 2 spheres (1 for the body and 1 for the head), and then turn on control points and squish them around.

You can skip the "Rebuild surface" step because MoI automatically makes spheres to be smoothly squishable.

So in MoI, draw the 2 spheres, then use Edit / Show pts to turn on the control points for the sphere and then manipulate the points.

There is also a MoI tutorial video that lyes made about using that kind of surface deforming technique available here:

Just follow along the tutorial - it starts by drawing 2 spheres.
