Some thoughts on a NURBS to Poly workflow with MoI

You need some kind of artificial intelligence inside the mesher if you hope to build SDS ready cage.
You can allready discuss hours about 'what would be the best polyflow' for some simple objetcs, what about a complete car for example ?

Maybe the solution will come from this 'auto-quad mesh' tools like you can find in 3dcoat ...

Acutally if I need to convert a MoI objet into an sds one, I just rebuilt the topology with tools like topogun. It would be faster and more "accurate" than trying to clean MoI export. Just import you 10M poly mesh and think topology ... it's the same workflow when you model stuff in zbrush and retopo your stuff later.
