Hi BIRDBRAIN,

Yust draw a cylinder 2'' dia. and place it in the correct position.
Move it into the tube and make sure that the edge of the cylinder
doesn't touch the inner surface.
Use Boolean/Diff and select the tube,then the command prompts:
"Select objects to subtract",then select the cylinder and push enter.
