Is or will there be a API or scripting for MOI? Command line?

I want to write some very simple tools for jewelry and small objects and would like it to be in a CAD package that is free for consumers.

I might be able to promote MOI if this is possible.

Really I want these tools to display in an advertisement in the browser. 3D for the web does not exist.
