Hi Burr, yeah I intend to add another option for Rebuild like a "Make single segment" checkbox that will then work like that other RebuildCurve command, it's actually on my short list of things to still add in.

But I was thinking of possibly only enabling that option when in "rebuild by # of points" mode, not in "rebuild by tolerance" mode because the rebuild by tolerance is more oriented towards keeping the overall structure of the curve intact (like keeping where there are sharp corners).

The "rebuild by tolerance" method can actually combine segments together though - it will automatically combine segments that are tangent to one another into longer single segments.
