Good question, actually I started modeling the chimp about 6 months ago, maybe more, starting and finishing the head in MoI V1, having some spare time I finished the rest lately.

To answer your question about the tangency in the face area, I'll have to revisit that, as it was so long ago. Once I have a look I'll post some procedures in how I made the face, if you like.
