Hi Brian, there is a problem with MoI v1 and IE8, but MoI v2 is fine with IE8.

So you should be fine to install it if you only want to run the current v2 beta and not the original 1.0 release.

Also I am very nearly ready with a patch to v1 that will update it so that it works ok with IE8 as well, hopefully I will be able to wrap that up today.
