How about adding a Referencing or Template layer or the ability to "Lock" surface, curves, etc.

I have imported .3dm files into Moi as a reference objects but I find it difficult to construct geometry around it without accidently selecting the reference lines and curves. It would be good if it could be Locked or put into a freeze state or something.

Would something likes this possibly be implemented in furture releases.
