It will in certain circumstances, like if there are 20 fillets and one of them can't be calculated then the other ones should still get built.

Also some things like a failure to trim a fillet should not now stop it from working.

But in this case the error seems to be in constructing the fillet surface itself, and there is just that one surface to be made (if you're doing just one edge at a time) so not much to salvage in this particular case as far as error tolerating goes.
