Hi Thor, yeah that is rather unexpected.

Right now loft is pretty sensitive to the spacing of the cross-sections. If they are spaced rather unevenly as they are here, it tends to create some oscillations.

I think that I can tune this up to be less sensitive.

In the meantime, the "loose" style is much less sensitive to the spacing - the surface created from the loose style is not forced to actually go exactly through all the cross-sections, it is more just guided by them. Another workaround for the moment is to copy the middle cross section once or twice inside the longest gap area to make it more evenly spaced.
