I was not at all happy with the "leaves" in the original
Here is a rework idea.

1. I projected the leaves shape onto a half dome and trimmed out
2. Added thickness and filleted
3. Trimmed off one of the leaves and rotated.

I think this enabled me to get a more realistic, less stilted, mechanical look.
(When the stem is added it will hide the small visual discrepancies)
