Currently it is not possible to do this in MoI.

I can't follow the description exactly, but it kind of looks like it is using some of the new deformation tools that were added in Rhino version 4.0 .

I would like to add functions like that in the future, but it is a fairly difficult area of work, like for Rhino these functions were not possible in Rhino v1, v2, or v3 - it is a new area that was added for Rhino v4.

Similarly, it may take me until something like MoI v4 until I am able to add those functions into MoI.

Currently if you need to do that kind of thing, my recommendation is to get Rhino v4 to handle that. You can also use MoI and Rhino very easily in combination with each other since they use the same file format and data can be copy/pasted between the 2 programs.
