I was trying to use a number as a shortcut key. Could this be made to work or is there a compliance issue here.

My reason is as I viewed the thread on lighting, I wanted to set up my ten key to move the lights at will.
1,2,3,6,9,8,7,4 Rather than trying to do it with b,n,m,k,i,u,y,h or something.
