It's an interesting idea! But usually a black and white image will not have just like a single black dot in a particular area, it will kind of have a glob of them.

I'm not sure how I could decide how to snap to that glob of black dots with an accurate result, I mean should it be the closest black dot, or the one running down the center?

It takes quite a bit of specialized pattern recognition type programming to try and recognize the structure of the objects that are now represented by just dots. Unfortunately it will probably not be feasible for me to make that kind of a thing anytime too soon...

Without that kind of pattern recognition I think it will be difficult to get a good quality accurate snap to the background image.
