Hello everyone,
I'll first thank you for your nice comments, it gives me all the energy I need to finish the model !
So I'll try to reply to every question/remarks
> Thanks Michael, yes the all the construction lines were used for trimming/booleans, I have lost (clean) some of them during the modeling process, and indeed
I like the sketchy look it give to the object.
> Frenchy Pilou, Yes I was quite inspired from Cristobal Vila way of working, it was the first nurbs 'tutorial' I read when I have started Moi few months ago, thanks
to posting it ;)
> Nick, well I do agree I can't wait for the objet/layers manager, however even with many objects I still have a good workflow, thanks to some scripts (like the one
to select every curves). I also have 2 or 3 session of Moi open, one with the complete model and the others to work on some parts that I have extracted (copy/paste).
So I have some kind of layers system.
Btw I will point it again, but I'm still amazed by Moi stability. Not a single crash since I'm use it in fact Oo. I'm really not used to this :)
> -ash- ... it's modo here.
> alexxx_95, well doing a usefull tutorial is something quite hard to do, for exemple this model wasn't made so easily, I did and re-did a lot of parts, because
of a lack of design question, or just because I didn't like the blending, or the continuity between 2 pieces. If one day I'm able to create something like this in one
hour why not, but I"m still learning nurbs myself, so I don't fell like I can teach someone.
That's said, basically, what I did here is a lot of booleans and trimming between curves ;)
*** Sorry for the spelling mistake in the thread tittle, it's a space fighter, seems that I can't edit that :P
