Are you interested in mouse gestures? You can download and install "a mouse gesture recognition engine and command processor" StrokeIt - http://www.tcbmi.com/strokeit/downloads.shtml (110 kB). It allows you to add a mouse gesture recognition to any! application. I tried it with MoI and it works fine through sending a hotkey (MoI's shortcuts) to MoI's main window. I mapped the drawing gestures to the middle button so it only interferes with MoI regular stuff slightly when panning view by middle button.
