For people seeking an Animation / Rendering package for their MoI models, you might look into Houdini.

Houdini is a powerful 3D package being used at top effects houses worldwide. It's pricey, but recently Side Effects Software has released the Houdini:Apprentice and Apprentice HD program. This learning edition basically puts Houdini into the hands of starving artists and students on the Cheap!

Now for the other part, learning to use it! 3D Buzz is now offering Free basic training classes on Houdini. Yes, they plan on selling DVD's of more advanced training somewhere down the road, but the basic intro classes are no cost.
