Hi Rudy, like Pilou mentions maybe you were using too large of a fillet radius?

Over here selecting the whole solid seems to fillet fine up to a maximum radius of 0.17 - any much more than that and the little face will get totally consumed:



If fillet is failing for you, the first thing to do is to try using a really small radius, like 0.1 or 0.01 . If that succeeds you can start increasing it and look for the areas that are causing problems, such as a face being totally eaten away, pieces running into each other, etc...

Shelling can be kind of similar - over here shelling the bottom face of your solid seems to work fine up to a distance of 0.39. Any more than that and again pieces will start to run into each other and fail.
