Question : Does the Blend tool work only for surfaces or is it normally also possible to blend the end of two open curves (that do not belong to any surface) ?
If I use the tool on two such curves, nothing happens. Is that a bug ?

Workaround for this is to extrude both curves, blend the surfaces, select the new edge curves and delete all the rest...
