Mike, thanks for responding and thanks for the link. I'll try it out.

The Germans had a bunch of wild designs in the works when the war ended. The advent of jet engines opened up a lot of possibilities as far as design went. They weren't constrained to putting a propeller on the nose of the plane. Check out the 3D models at Luft46. http://www.luft46.com/luftart.html I've started on a Horten 229 flying wing. That plane was decades ahead of its time.

As for being my first model, I do have some experience modeling in Rhino, so that helped.
