Thanks for the recommendations - I'm still getting my habits down and changing my shortcuts as I go, so everything may fall into place more naturally over time. Frenchy, thanks - I do have the custom UI installed, so the giant list of standard and "exotic" commands can be pulled up with a click, though it can be a bit overwhelming, which kind of illustrates the simple UI wisdom. I love the idea of "bd = boolean difference." That might be even better than what I'm talking about, but it sounds like a major task that can wait.
