Hi geoff, the nodeeditor is Max's part time side project that gets updates when he has extra time. It's somewhat of a community project and has a slow rate of development.
If that type of procedural modeling is an integral part of what you need, you would probably be better off with Rhino/Grasshopper, although if you are interested in community based open source development and would like to participate in evolving it then it might be a good fit for you.
Existing nodeeditor users are using it with the MoI v4 beta and so there are some bugs when using it with v3.
I think I recognize the second one you show as a bug when creating a Macro when running under MoI v3, there is some info on that here:

I'm not entirely sure but I think the other 2 are also things that use newer areas of Javascript which are not supported by the older WebKit version that is bundled with MoI v3 but are supported on the newer one that comes with MoI v4.
