I test a method :
hexagon
extrude (red part)
hexagon
extrude tapered and rotate 30° (orange and green part) moved up for Orange and mirrored for green part
another hexagon extruded tapered and rotated and moved more for cyan and blue part (with mirrored cyan).

With all of this you can do some boolean/merge and delete (or hide) all part we don't want.

And you have something near of what you want...

You have to do a crop with booeal operation to break points top and bottom



With more time you have exact copy of what you want.

Boolean/union and go...
