Hi Anthony, my conclusion on software "trends" and cloud direction seem pretty in line with yours
and I'm not that old. I looked at a lot of 3d cad options and then decided on moi.
I like the 'ethos' and value.

Software companies typically trying to release more and more features to justify subscriptions
when really it might have worked fine 10years ago. Dont get me wrong some improvements are
worth paying for but I prefer to decide when. I would for example never swap quickbooks online
for quickbooks desktop. So, Intuit left me behind or alienated a lot of customers there offering less
for more. ADOBE might be same.

Whilst I'm a fresh boy with Moi to me it seems Michael's programme infrastructure is really smart
and flexible. It makes moi a really attractive option for people moving from 2d to 3d
or trying to compliment what they might already do.

I understand v4 is near to completion and hoping for a few more 2d like features to be introduced mainly to do with alignment and positioning. This is the 20% I might use and depend on when doing 2d production designs.
Fast dimensioning and positioning is what I need. The more advanced 3d stuff I'll have to ease into.

Maybe Michael could soon be looking at max exodus of 2d designers seeing another dimension ;0).

Keep ranting, it's safe!

Have a nice weekend everyone.
