yup, confirmed - happens with OpenGL renderer. Does not happen with DX11.
With forced DX11 I noticed that MoI starts correctly with DXVK. Sadly when you start adding / extruding geo visual glitches happen. Thus had to disable DXVK.
Still have hopes for that option as most of the times if I get the app working with DXVK I get the best performance and stability (Vulkan is awesome from end user point of view - but I totally get it how much more work it requires from dev side, one of the reasons I have my hopes in translation layers like dxvk).

edit: and with api set to DX11 the __GL_MaxFramesAllowed = 1 setting is not needed

edit2: another small thing I've found - in V4 selecting sub patches is trickier than in V3. For example on a cylinder to select a "cap" in V4 I need to really play with camera view position till it allows me to pick the cap. In V3 it works like a charm.
