I have the latest MoI ver 3 & 4 running on Windows 10.

In ver 4 I set Options > View > 3D view projection to "Parallel".

The Parallel setting remains intact when I re-open the file.

However if I open a file in ver 4 that was last saved in MoI ver 3, the setting switches to "Perspective". Perspective view was the option setting I used in ver 3.

In the scenario above, other option settings I changed in ver 4 persist as expected, regardless of what version the file was saved under. Only the 3D view projection option seems to change depending on the file I open.

Is "3D view" a global setting, or does it revert to the setting as used on a particular 3DM file?

I'm using Max's Custom UI on ver 4 in case that matters.
