Hi Pat, some programs only work on polygon mesh data. A lot of rendering and more animation/graphics oriented programs are like this, for example Cinema4D.

So you may need to convert to a polygon mesh if you want to export data to one of these types of programs. MoI will do that conversion if you export to the .obj, .lwo, .3ds, or .stl file formats.

I'm not quite sure if that answers your question though, is there some other reference to mesh that you're talking about?
