Hi Zim,

The process I use is :
Select the curves,
then export as pdf (then select the view).
In Inkscape, import the pdf file.
The curves will be editable.

PS
I rarely use export as Illustrator because, for some reason, I am never able to directly open the exported file in Inkscape.
If I want to use Illustrator exportation, I first have to open Illustrator to convert the file. Then it becomes usable by inkscape
