Hi 3image, a different thing that you could do now to get the type of display you want would be to draw in 2 lines going along those axis lines and then you can select the lines and use Edit > Lock to lock them so they won't be selectable.

By default locked objects are drawn in a gray color but you can change that in options under Options > View > Colors > "Locked objects use alternate color".
