Hi Andrei, that might be a good idea to have Alt turn off the one-directional sizing, but there is another way to do it currently which is to "shake off" the sizing straight snaps.

That means if you move your mouse a far enough diagonal distance away from the corner (moving in a direction not causing one-directional sizing), then when the mouse returns to the corner it won't try to do that snapping anymore.
