How would I remove the point on the right of the attached object?

Essentially I made a cone and then put a cylinder on it.

I want to remove the point of the cone beyond the cylinder.

I joined the cone and cylinder with a Boolean Union.

I haven't the slightest idea what I am doing as have not spent much time using MOI.

Woops I just did a couple of left clicks and the point was selected so I hit delete!

Guess that answers my question.

Now how do I make the whole object solid?

I need to 3D print.
