I guess I don't see how entering in a pitch by distance between 2 points is going to help you solve this particular case, if all you have are those 2 points at different angular stations in the helix it's not like the pitch is defined just by the direct distance between those...

I guess you need to do something like measure the distance in Z only between those 2 points, and that's not the pitch that's a fraction of the pitch, you need to also measure the angle between those 2 points and if it's like 3/4 of a revolution around then you need to multiple that distance by 4/3 to get the actual pitch. Something like that anyway...
