Thank you for your reply. I just tried pipe2 script. It's simpler than my method for sure.

Yes I'm concerned about control points and I'd like to keep my geometry as light as possible. Because if some part of my model have too much unnecessary details I usually run into problems at that point. Some edges get broken, booleans, fillets and some other commands don't work properly, or takes too much to calculate. I'm talking about heavy scenes with lots of geometry.

Isn't that better modeling with less points possible? Less point should mean less calculations, faster viewport feedback, smoother geometry, more precision, etc... Please enlighten me.
