Can anyone tell me why all individual part numbers and the hierarchy structure has gone from any imported step file? Instead I get a generic part number based not the main assembly name. It's important for me to be able to maintain this information for complex assemblies.

Sorry if this has cropped up in the past, I'm a new (and very excited) user.
