Hi Michael.

Is there a script or some other option available, like holding down the shift key, to allow the temporary suppression or hiding of the view controls, as I sometimes find them to be covering a point I need to snap to?

Failing that, I'd like to suggest that perhaps a way in the future to move them to a corner might work, as it seems the 'inner me' compels all drawing to happen around the centre area of the screen.
