Hi, Shapenoid. I'm a Modo user who frequently imports and exports data from MoI into Modo. I haven't used the NURBS importer for IGES and STP, but I've read generally positive things about it. For my needs, MoI's mesher works very well. I've found that exporting ngons into a .LWO file is the best method for getting pristine meshes into Modo, at least in terms of preserving normal valence. OBJ works very well, too, as Robert mentioned. I guess it depends on what you are planning on doing. Do you need to do additional modeling and tweaking after you import into Modo or are you just rendering? Different importing methods tend to give me better results for different objectives is what I'm getting at, I guess.
