demo import

Hi rd - the 30-day trial does not have file imports disabled.

However, there are a lot of different kinds of things that Rhino can save to 3DM files, and MoI only reads in some kinds of entities from the file.

Things like spotlights, dimensions and polygon mesh objects are not things that MoI deals with directly so those kinds of entities will not show up if they were in the 3DM file that you were trying to load.

Another one is block instances, those are also skipped.

From inside Rhino try using the "What" command to see what kind of object you are trying to work with.

If it's a block instance use the Explode command in Rhino to change it into regular geometry.

If it's a mesh object, then that's not the right kind of data that MoI can import - MoI works only on NURBS data and not on polygon mesh data.
