say you draw a hull

you draw some stations in top view without special spacing
launch the automatic sweep
So the stations are equally positionned

then you can move or transform each station profil in the result if needing ;)
And re-use them in a normal sweep

(move horizontally a profil between 2 others are no effect in the automatic sweep mode)
