Say I want see only "red cubes" on the screen with the follow image

I select Right click on the red eye in Styles Part = all red objects
Then
Left Double click on the Objects part on Cylinder, Cone, Sphere for keep only red "cubes"

No problem as there are only 3 natures of these objects (Cylinder, Cone, Sphere)
But when I have thousand of different natures?
There is not an only selection nature Object when Color is yet selected?


Or i miss something?
(it's the same when I begin by the nature of object)
